I have tried loads of lines but will be sticking with Trailskin. The trench foot cream doesn't budge; even after hours in bogs my feet stay fairly smooth and the skin does not break down. The body lube is very easy to apply and I have not had a single bit of chafing since using it, including on a 100 mile race. And I use the foot revival balm actually as a foot prep balm to soften the skin in the run up to a race, it seems to work for that too. Great products and competitively priced.
I starting using Muscle Balm after a few tweaks during table tennis initially and then progressed to using in after the long runs. Fantastic recovery aid and a miracle balm for those little niggles!
Best Trench foot cream I have used, kept my feet in great condition on Both the Arc of Attrition 2026 and UTS Snowdonia 2026 which were both very wet races.
Also love the foot balm for keeping my feet in great condition.
Used this pre and during a 81 mile ultra recently, and it showed its worth! A VERY wet race, with tricky surfaces, feet already tip-top just days post-race. Would recommend everyone having this stuff!
Well, what can I say… I used this little beauty on my last 128K ultra, and bloody hell, did it get put through its paces.
It rained. I mean IT RAINED!
By the halfway point, my socks and shoes were soaked right through, so I got to my drop bag and changed everything. But despite all those hours of wet conditions, my feet were still in bloody good shape. No problems, no issues, happy feet!
Then I made a massive mistake…
I didn’t pack any more Trench Foot for the second half.
And my feet absolutely took a bartering.
That was enough proof for me. The difference between using it and not using it was bloody obvious.
So, moral of the story
USE TRENCH FOOT
It’s bloody amazing, especially if you’re heading out for long runs, ultras or anything where your feet are going to spend hours getting wet.
My feet have officially given it the Running Weirdo seal of approval.
I bought this bundle to trial ahead of my 2 day stage race in the Peak District as I knew wet boggy weather and a river crossing on both days was forecast. What can I say, at the end of the race after applying the products before and after as instructed, my feet were by far the best I've seen them and showed no signs of the battering they'd been put through (unlike my body and leg muscles)!
I can highly recommend this product and vouch for its effectiveness.
Now to man-up and deal with that black toe nail
Brilliant product, first wore it on the LL50 and performed brilliantly, been using it ever since and had zero foot issues. Highly recommended.
A lovely little product than can be carried after application for those ultra runs when you may require a further application due to sweating profusely.
Really stopped my chaffing not only on trains days but also on my actual ultra races. Thank you team for this little jem which I thoroughly recommend.
A genuine game-changer for ultra distances
I've been using the Trail Skin ultra bundle across my ultra-distance training and racing, and the difference in foot condition has been significant. On my last ultra, I still picked up a couple of blisters, but they were far less painful and disruptive than the issues I'd normally expect without this treatment — a real testament to how well the products work even under sustained, high-mileage stress.
What's become clear is that this isn't a one-off fix — it's something I now treat as an ongoing part of my foot care routine to keep problems at bay. I've already gone on to buy more of the range, which says everything about how much I trust it.
One small preference: I get on much better with the soft version of the anti-chafe product compared to the original — worth trying both to see which suits your skin.
Overall, a bundle I'd genuinely recommend to anyone tackling long distances on trail.
Amazing product, have used for 50km ultras all the way through to my first 200 miler this year and wouldnt use anything else.
